Toastmasters speaking and leadership club (Kensington Place, 1580 Geary Road, Walnut Creek.)     (7:00 am - 8:30 am)
Being able to express yourself clearly and confidently will lead to greater business and personal success. We all need better communication with employees, investors, clients, even our family. Whether you are a novice or experienced public speaker, you will gain practice, feedback and skills in a highly supportive environment. Hone leadership skills by serving on a committee, e.g. to set up communication skills workshops in local schools or for other business groups.
We have fun meanwhile too! The applause and laughter will wake you up. Network and make friends with 30 other professionals.

Hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life have benefited from Toastmasters clubs since 1924, including CEOs and founders of such companies as Mrs. Fields' Cookies. Earn awards by following educational manuals at your own pace. Mentoring is also available. Our club includes distinguished Toastmasters with over 10 years of speaking experience.
Guests attend for free anytime with no obligation, while members take full advantage of Toastmasters for less than $10 a month (compare to several hundreds of dollars to listen to a communications seminar).

To find a group meeting at other times or places, see www.toastmasters.org or call 1-800-NEW-EDGE.
